Description: This stamp belongs to Resident birds of Srilanka 25v sheet with a face value of 4.50 sri lankan rupees. The name Malabar pied hornbill comes from a place in Kerala, India. In Kerala these birds are seen in forests, the tropical climate suits their comfort. Its so sad that India Post has not released any stamps on this bird.
