Status: Near Threatened
Habitat: Ivory Coast, Ghana, Guinea, Liberia, Sierra Leone, and Togo ( subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, plantations, and heavily degraded former forest.)
Threats: Habitat loss and hunting.
Diet: Fruits and insects.
Features: 60-70 cm. Large hornbill with pale yellow bill and casque, black head (with reddish tinged cheeks in subspecies cylindricus), crest, back and upper underparts, contrasting with mostly white remiges, and lower underparts; tail white with black band. Female has smaller, back bill and casque.
